Izztta Catherine Dennis Clark, age 92 of Leitchfield, passed away November 3, 2023, at Grayson Manor Nursing Facility in Leitchfield, Kentucky.
She was born June 19, 1931, in Grayson County, to the late Sye Wesley and Ettie Lillian Drane Dennis. She retired from IMS Manufacturing Company and was a member of the Hardin Spring Community Church and attended Tri Unity and Mt. Hebron Church. Everyone knew her as the quilt lady at the Leitchfield flea market and she loved playing the guitar and organ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Zelba Lee Clark; one son, Lavoid Clark; four brothers, Simon, Orville, Arvie and Ivan Dennis; Seven sisters, Margie Miller, Nellie Miller, Nora Fouch, Ressie Dennis, Myrtle Miller and two infant sisters.
She is survived by one son, Charles Dale (Judy) Clark of Leitchfield; one daughter, Lillian “Lil” (Brent) Brashars of Leitchfield; a daughter-in-law, Mary Clark of Hawaii; three grandchildren, Adam Rigdon, Samantha Thurman and Jamison Brashars; four great grandchildren, Ayden Davenport, Leland Thurman, Chloe Thurman and Damien Rigdon; two step-grandchildren, Oliver Cole and Elizabeth Thomas; several nieces and nephews also survived.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM (CDT), Monday, November 6, 2023, at Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson with Bro. Randall Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday 3PM to 7PM at Rogers Funeral Home, and after 9AM to the time of service on Monday.
