Barbara Ann (Cripps) Sturgeon

Barbara Ann Cripps Sturgeon, age 76, of Leitchfield, passed away, Sunday, October 1, 2023, at her residence.

She was born August 21, 1947, in Hardin County, to the late Clarence Andy and Bertha Ann Miller Cripps. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Unity Pentecostal Apostolic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Rick Cripps and Delbert Dennis; and two sisters, Mary Dennis and Doris Dennis.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Larry Sturgeon; one daughter, Tina Marie Johnson (John) of Russellville; three sons, Larry Allan Sturgeon (Erin) of Bowling Green, Charles David House (Sonya) of Palmer, AK, and Edgar Lee House, of Hamstead, MD; three sisters, Lucille Floyd, Linda Ward, and Brenda Woosley (Raymond); and twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM (CDT), Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Rogers Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Decker and Bro. Harold Decker officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazelwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday after 12 PM, until the time of the service at Rogers Funeral Home.
