Yvonne Walters Thompson, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Saturday, November 15, 2015 at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.

She was born on July 5, 1933 in Michigan, daughter of the late George and Lillie "Pearl" Allore Walters.

She was a Housewife and was married to the late Bennie Thompson.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by seven children; Judy Jaggers (Laymon), Phyllis Hatfield (Don), Sherry Carr (Bill), Grace Melvin, Frank Melvin, Mike Thompson and Ben Thompson and two grandchildren she raised as her own; Stephen Melvin and Lori Ruth.

Other survivors include several Brothers, sixteen Grandchildren and 37-Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, one son; Keith Melvin, 1-daughter-in-law; Mavis Melvin and one Grand-daughter; Libby Webb.

Visitation : Friends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home from 12 noon to 8:00PM (CST)on Wednesday November 18 2015 and after 9:00AM Thursday.

Services : Funeral service will be at 11:00AM (CST) on Thursday November 19 2015 at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Bro. John Whittaker will officiate.

Interment : Cremation to follow services.
