Wavie Mercer, age 68, was born in Grayson Co., KY. He was the son of the late Wallace Mercer.

He was an Assemly Worker for Ford Motor Co., a Veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam and he attended Eveleigh Independent Church.

He is survived by two daughters Jenny Borland and Leslie Mercer; his mother Ima Mae Blair Mercer; two granddaughters Ashley Borland and Bailey Mercer; a grandson Colton Gray; two brothers Ray and Russell Mercer; five sisters Alvena Vincent, Lillian Spicer, Louise Belcher, Luvena McCombs and Linda Baxter; two special friends Roger and Michael Vincent; several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father.

Visitation : Tuesday November 06 2012 from 2-8 PM; Wednesday after 9:00 AM until time of funeral at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home.

Services : Wednesday November 07 2012 at 1:00 PM at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Chester Shartzer officiating.
