Vernon Clay Willis, age 79, of Leitchfield, passed away, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Spring View Nursing and Rehabilitation in Leitchfield.

He was born January 16, 1945, in Grayson County to the late O.E. "Tooter" and Pearl Evelyn Byerly Willis. He was a self-employed handyman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Thomas "Tommy" Willis; and stepmother Etta Mae Saltsman Willis.

He is survived by  three sisters, Donna Darnell, Ann Deweese, and Gloria Willis; a brother, Greg Willis and several nieces.

Cremation was chosen by the family.
