Vernie Bobby Nelson, age 68, of Clarkson, passed away, May 10,2020, at his residence.

He was a union carpenter as a journeyman for IKORCC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernie and Opal Nelson; his siblings, Thomas Nelson, Alma Jean Hudspeth, Beverly Duvall, Ray Nelson, Elmer Nelson, George Nelson, Robert Nelson, Mary Newton, Joanne Bradley and Clifton Fulkerson.

He is survived by three sons, William (Amy) Nelson of Sweeden, Robert (Kim) Nelson of Leitchfield and Paul (Rebecca) Nelson of Clarkson; nine grandchildren, Andy, Jonathan, Eddie, Travis, Brittany, Khalie, Gavin, Hayden and Jaiden; six great children; six brothers, James (Mary Jane) Nelson, Dudley (Rita) Nelson, Howard (Louisine) Nelson, Lee (Patsy) Nelson, Leroy (Linda) Fulkerson and Lumis (Juanita) Fulkerson and four sisters, Cuba (Charles) Fulkerson, Gladys (Riley) Decker, Brenda Nelson and Ethel Nelson.

Cremation was chosen.
