Verna Lee Shewmaker, age 83, of Big Clifty, KY passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at her residence.

She was born in New Albany, IN. on January 9, 1927, daughter of the late Charles Albert and Goldie Ann Burres Tripure and was married to the late Elmer D. Shewmaker. She was a housewife.

Mrs. Shewmaker is survived by one daughter; Rita Jones, of Knoxville, TN.

Also surviving is one grand-daughter; Verna Michelle Neace (Zack), three great-grandchildren; Bethany Neace, Dalton Neace and Jacob Neace and three grandsons; Leonard Noble, Christopher Slone and Michael Slone.

Services : Graveside services will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 11:00AM Tuesday June 23 2015.

Interment : Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
