Obituary

Velda Sue Milliner, age 83, of Big Clifty, passed away April 23, 2024, at her home.

She was born October 19, 1940, in Hardin County, to the late Russell and Loretta Dennis. She retired from E-town Sportswear and long arm quilted for people for many years. She was a member of the Mt. Hebron Gospel Mission Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry "Red" Milliner and their daughter, Robin Ranae Elliott.

Sue is survived by her son, Douglas Brent (Marcia) Milliner; her granddaughter, Karah (Jody) Carroll; her grandson, Gavin (Amanda) Milliner; five great-grandchildren, Jayley, Tinley, Beckham and Brooks Carroll and Kaden Milliner; step grandchildren, Daniel Elliott and his daughters, Samantha and Emma and Christina Hobson and her daughter, Elliana and four brothers, Wendell (Mary Price) Dennis, Arnold (Sue Gwathney) Dennis, Jerry (Carol Payne) Dennis and Cecil Wayne (Laura) Dennis.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM (CDT), Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Mt. Hebron Gospel Mission Church with Bro. Jimmy Douthitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to 8 PM (CDT), Wednesday at Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson and after 9 AM (CDT), Thursday at the church.
