Uleta Skaggs Richardson, age 85, of Big Clifty, passed away, Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Baptist Health in Louisville.

She was born September 29, 1936, in Clarkson, to the late Henry and Lillian Nichols Skaggs. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and making clothes for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James L. Richardson and five brothers and sisters, Tom Skaggs, Ewell Skaggs, Agnes Hawkins, Wilma Manion and Jake Skaggs.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Brunton (Brian) of Louisville and Jane Richardson (Sami) of Indianapolis and two grandsons, Ethan Brunton and Everett Brunton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM (CST) Friday, December 3, 2021, at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Leitchfield.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM (CST) Thursday and after 10 AM (CST) Friday at the funeral home.

In Lieu of the flowers, the family request donation be made to the American Alzheimer's Association, Hosparus of Central Kentucky or the Leitchfield Animal Shelter.
