In Loving Memory of Tresa O’Connell, age 61, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at Nortons Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.

Tresa’s life was not always easy. She faced struggles and hardships throughout her life, but despite everything she went through, she continued to be a loving and caring person to the people around her. She had a heart for others and a way of making the people she loved feel important and cared for. Above all, Tresa was a mother and grandmother who meant so much to her family. She was also a daughter, sister, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many. While her life may have had its challenges, those who knew and loved her will remember the good moments, the memories she created, and the love she gave.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Francis and Nicy Ann Evans O'Connell and her husband, Kennedy McStoots.

Teresa is survived by her daughter, Christy Puckett (Chris Clemons); her son, Kennedy McStoots; two granddaughters, Athen Puckett and Kendra Puckett; a brother, Carl O'Connell (Reesa); two sisters, Alicia Hazelwood (Bethel) and Sandra McStoots and several other relatives and friends.

Losing someone we love is never easy, and the emotional weight of saying goodbye can be overwhelming. Thank you to everyone who has shown love, support, and kindness to Tresa and her family during this difficult time.

In keeping with the family's wishes, cremation was chosen and services will be announced later.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Rogers Funeral Home.
