Tommy Wayne Embry, dedicated Christian, devoted father, beloved brother, and skilled farmer entered into his rest on June 21, 2021.

Wayne loved people.  His greatest joy was to help new and struggling Christians find their way.  He was also an encourager, always finding the good in everybody.  He was skilled with "rightly dividing the Word of Truth" (2 Timothy 2:15) and was constantly being approached with biblical or spiritual questions.  Wayne was generous to a fault and was often heard saying "you should give, expecting nothing in return".

Wayne is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Embry; his three children, Mason Embry (Ashley), Caleb Embry (Amy) and Megan Embry; his three grandchildren, Noella Embry, Norah Embry, and Hazel Embry; his three siblings, Kathy Williams, Donna Irani (Darius), and Byron Embry (Judy) and his ever- faithful canine companion, Daisy.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Nell Embry, and sister Betty Logsdon (Norman).

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, June 25, 2021, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Leitchfield Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM, Thursday and after 9 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
