Tolbert Laymon Hayes, age 86, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at Twin Lakes Medical Center in Leitchfield.

He was born in Grayson County, KY on February 11, 1932, son of Eddie and Martha (Decker) Hayes and was married to Revona (Carrroll) Hayes. He was a General Laborer in the Construction Business and  member of McGrew Baptist Church.

Mr. Hayes is survived by his wife; Revona Hayes, three daughters; Kathy Hellmuth, Valerie VanMeter and Angie Patterson, five sons; Dennis (Deborah) (Red) Hayes, Timmy (Lori) Hayes, Arnold Hayes, Henry (Stephanie) Hayes and Phillip (Joanie) Hayes.

Other survivors include several Grandchildren, several Great-grandchildren and one special Grand-daughter; Shay Patterson.

He was preceded in death by his Parents,  three Sisters, six-Brothers, several infant Brothers & Sister, three Sons-in-law; Mark, David and Eugene and one infant grandson; Dalton.
