Timothy Lynn Roten, age 63, of Falls of Rough, passed away, Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Owensboro Hospital.

He was born August 20, 1961, in Louisville, to the late Junior Arlie and Louise Nannie Scott Roten. He retired as lead custodian from Rockwood School District in St. Louis and took pride in having clean schools for the children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors, telling jokes and making people laugh. He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing the guitar and most string instruments.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Roten; four stepsons, Michael David, Shaun Kelly, Anthony Wayne and Justin Lee and his father-in-law, Troy Roberts.

Timmy is survived by his wife, Linda Roberts Roten; a son, Nicholas Elliott Roten; two sisters, Cynthia Jervis and Linda Faye Roten; a special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Randy and Emma Thompson and several other relatives and friends.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

Watkins Funeral Home in Leitchfield is assisting the family.
