Teresa Lynn Cummins, age 53, of Caneyville, passed away, Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Owensboro Health-Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

She was born September 5, 1970, in Louisville to William Hillard and the late Phyllis Stinnett Beers. She had been a housekeeping supervisor at Rough River Lake State Park for 28 years. She enjoyed doing yard work and was a "bargain queen" who loved going to yard sales and thrift stores. She was a tough, strong, stubborn woman and a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Beers; her stepdad, Robert Beers; her grandparents, Shirley and Hershell Stinnett and Catherine and Troy Hillard and an aunt, Starlynn Hodge.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 31 years, Dale Breeden; five daughters, Chasity Cummins, Toni Cummins, Elizabeth Cummins, Kanvas Cummins and Ashley Redmon; three sons, Dan Cummins, Dale Redmon and Aaron Breeden; her father and stepmother, Will and Mal Hillard; twenty-three grandchildren, Braydon, Darrion, Kameron, Penelope, Kadin, Leland, Whitley, Gunner, Emma, William, Bentlee, Chloe, Layla, Parker, Myla, Tyler, Elizabeth, Dale, Darren, Decklyn, Dalton, Roslyn and Brian;  her first great-grandson, Jordan due in September; two brothers, Michael Hillard and Robert Dorman; a sister, Bobbie Snoop Nifong; three aunts, Karen Hardin, Patricia Montgomery and Sandy White; an uncle Terry Stinnett; several cousins and other relatives and friends survive.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen, and the family will have a private service.
