Mr. Shirley Hume Hardy age 85, of Leitchfield, passed away, Friday, April 9, 2021, at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 1, 1935, in Madison County, Kentucky to the late Dewey and Maude Reynolds Hardy. He was a staunch democrat and a jack of all trades.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Phyllis, Betty and Linda and two brothers, Carl and Ernest.

He is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Raymon) Wilburn of Louisville; two sons, Bobby (Denise) Hardy and Bruce (Lisa) Hardy all of Byron, Georgia; his companion, Flor Hardy of Leitchfield; two brothers, Norman and Curtis Hardy both of Leitchfield; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen and no services will be held.

Rogers-Oller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
