Sherman Paul Cripps, Jr. was born in Grayson Co., KY. He was the son of the late Sherman Paul Cripps, SR and Anna Lenora Whitfield Cripps. He was married to the late Rita Lois Cripps.

He was retired from P. Lorillard and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

He is survived by one son Paul Douglas Cripps; two daughters Loretta (Kenny) Pennington and Tammy (Glen) Stillings; four grandchildren: Ronnie (Penny) Noble, Toby Cripps, Travis Noble and Amanda Cripps. Also surviving: three brothers Edward, James and Robert Cripps and five sisters Erma Jean Eversole, Geraldine Cripps, Martha Langley, Helen Ritchie and Donna Cripps.

Services : Thursday February 13 2014 at 12:00 PM CDT at St. Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Steve Hohman officiating.
