Sharon Faye Hawkins Clemons, age 61, of Leitchfield, passed away, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at her residence.

Sharon was born on March 25, 1965, in Leitchfield, Kentucky to the late Wendell and Helen Humphrey Hawkins. She, along with her husband, James Larry Clemons, owned and operated the Jewelry Box and a lawn mowing business, where she served as the bookkeeper. She was a member of Mercy Missionary Baptist Church in Big Clifty.

She leaves behind her husband of 43 years, James Larry Clemons; her son James Lucas Clemons and his fiancée, Mady Mae Escue; three grandsons, Maverick, Braxton and Ledger Clemons; two brothers, Arnold Hawkins (Marcia) and Timmy Hawkins (Missy); two sisters, Roberta Gibson (Steve) and Wendy White (Johnny); a sister-in-law, Donna Sue Clemons Shelton (Mike); three nieces, Amanda Gardner (Kevin), Tiffany VanMeter (Devin) and Rachel Bradley (Travis); eight nephews, Chris White (Rachel), Johnathon White (Bethann), Keith Hawkins (Lady Di), Jake Hawkins, Zack Hawkins (Lacy), Andy Gibson (Kara), Lee Gibson (Emily) and Nathen Shelton; twenty-one great nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Patty Lindsey.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM (CT), Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Rogers Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Milam officiating. Burial will follow in the Mercy Baptist Church Cemetery in Big Clifty.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to 8 PM, Friday and after 9 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.
