Selena (Popovic) Schmierer, age 80 of Leitchfield, KY., passed away on August 14, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.   She was born on November 24, 1937 in Valjevo, Yusoslavia, the daughter of George Popovic' and Dobfila (Miloradovic') Ilic' and was married to Ivan Schmierer.  She was retired from IMS Manufacturing.

She is surviced by one son, Thomas Schmierer; grandchildren: Nicholas Schmierer and Samantha Schmierer;Cousins: Srba Milaraidovic, Vojko Jovanovic' (Veselina), Lazar Jovanovic' (Jovanka); half-sister, Anna Krstic' (C'edo and a sister, Goxica Popovic'.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and Husband.
