Sarah Louise Skaggs Metcalfe, age 87, of Clarkson, passed away, Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Spring View Nursing and Rehab.

She was born May 22, 1937, in Grayson County to the late Charles and Angie  Skaggs. Sarah was a homemaker who loved yard sales, auctions, tradio and reading. She was a member of Potter's Hope Church.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Roger Dale Metcalfe and Joseph Chandler Beville; a grandchild, Kaden Duggins; six brothers, Russell, Lester, Stanley, Edward, Norman, and Bill Skaggs; and three sisters, Loretta Meredith, Delta McDowell, and Marie Clark.

She is survived by two daughters, Pat Clemons (Rick) and Tracy Metcalfe; a son, Kevin Beville; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson with Bro. Wayne Clemons officiating.  Burial will follow at Little Clifty Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday and after 9 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
