Ruth Whobrey Goins, age 65, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away March 8, 2016 in New Port Richey.

She was born June 22, 1950, in Grayson County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Presley and Cova Cook Whobrey.

She enjoyed watching Nascar races, playing games, making Pecan Pies, helping people, traveling and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Cleo Goins; son, Shannon (Janett) Goins; daughter, Laura (Steven) Goins, all of New Port Richey, Florida; four brothers, Ernest (Doris) Whobrey, William Whobrey, Harold (Rose) Whobrey and Danny (Marsha) Whobrey; six sisters, Juanita Hockembury, Dorothy Hayes, Virginia (Kirby) Johnson, Martha Vincent, Mary (Jr.) Willis and Vicky (Hubert) Warf. Also survived by her dog Lilly, whom she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Elmer Whobrey and Delmer Whobrey.

Visitation : Friends may call at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home on Monday March 142016 from 1pm-8pm and after 9am Tuesday.

Services : Funeral services will be at 1pm Tuesday March 15 2016 at the Funeral Home.

Interment : Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery at Sadler.
