Rosie Thompson, age 70, of Leitchfield, passed away, Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab.

She was born September 7, 1952, in Leitchfield, to the late, Ralph and Margie Key Lashley. She was a homemaker, great cook, and loved to read. She attended New Life Apostolic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Robert "Frog" Thompson; one son Robert Lavine Thompson and two brothers James Edgar and Lester Lee Lashley.

Rosie is survived by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Gordon of Leitchfield; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Andis (Cory) of Leitchfield; two sisters Reva Norris, and Rena Teel (Charlie); and a brother, Earl Kenneth Lashley.

A Graveside service will be held at 1PM (CDT), Friday, June 23, 2023, at South Union Cemetery in Sunfish KY.
