Robert Lewis Nash, age 72, of Clarkson, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at his home.

He was born March 17, 1946, the son of Edward and Lucille Nash, of Clarkson and grandson of W.L. and Anna Nash also of Clarkson.

Mr. Nash was a retired Educator working as a Teacher, Guidance Counselor, Elementary Principal, Assistant High School Principal, High School Principal, Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent of Hart County Schools.

As a Baptist, he served as a deacon for over 40 years at Munfordville Baptist Church and Clarkson Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Phyllis Nash of Clarkson, two sons, Alan Nash of Philadelphia, Penn and David Nash (Jen) of San Diego, Cal; two grandsons, Preston Nash and Peter Nash of Columbus, Ohio.
