Robert Lee Burkhead, Jr. was born in Louisville, KY. He was the son of the late Robert Lee, Sr. and Rosie Lee Hanna Jennings Burkhead. He was married to Mary Willoughby Burkhead.

He was a retired machine operator at GE., a Mason and a member of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his wife Mary; seven sons: Robert Lee III, Matthew Todd, Mark Hanna and Luke Anthony Burkhead, Stephen Eugene and Robert Lee Sarver and Michael Paul Mullins; four daughters: Jennifer Lynn Sadler, Mary Lynn Sarver/Douthitt, Julie Ann Wisdom and Gina Marie Beckford; 28 Grandchildren; 2 Great-grandchildren; a brother William John Jennings III; five sisters: Tammy Lee Burkhead, Tina Lynn Lane, Charlotte Taylor, Candi Pittman and Sheila Vertress and one uncle Joe Burkhead

Visitation : Wednesday November 5 2014 from 2-8 PM CDT and Thursday after 9:00 AM until time of service.

Services : Thursday November 6 2014 at 1:00 PM CDT with Bro. Johnny Embry officiating

Interment : Calvert Cemetery
