Rickey Lee Givan gained his wings Thursday August 25, 2022, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

​Rickey was born December 24, 1955, to H.L. Smith Givan and Shirley Vertrees Givan (both deceased). Also proceeded in death by one brother, David Givan.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Givan, six children, Richard and Jamie Givan, Dewayne Sobek, Dyana and Dava Ewers and Jessica Braddy.

Other survivors include sixteen grandchildren, Nika and Billy Geary, Ryan Givan, Victoria Ewers, Madison and Lillian Wendburn, Kailynn Clark, Houston and Ben Sines, Taylin Long, Paige Hoffman, Shayanne Rodriguez, Lexi and Jessie Sobek, Mia Skaggs and Tyler Flory; eight great- grandchildren, Anna Cahue, Minnie and Remmington Cooper, Carrigan Geary, Willow and Oakley Geary, Penelope and Piper Harbolt and two sisters, Sue Hall and Cathy Givan. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Rickey loved the lake life, fishing, hunting, boating and hanging out with family and friends. He was a true friend and blessing to so many.

His smiling face will forever be missed.
