Richard F. Merrifield, age 62, of Big Clifty, KY., passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Jefferson County, KY., son of the late Robert and Hazel Mattingly Merrifield.

Richard was a Self-employed Contractor and Member of

St. Paul Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife; Joann Hogan Merrifield of Big Clifty, KY, two sons and daughters-in-law; Scott and Sheri Merrifield of Leitchfield, KY., and Robby and Michelle Merrifield of Big Clifty, KY.,

and one sister;Sandy Merrifield of Matoon, Il.

Also surviving are five grandchildren.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Powell.

Visitation : Friends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM Sunday April 22 2012. Prayer services will be at 6:00 PM Sunday night.

Services : Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church.

Interment : Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Big Clifty KY.
