Rebecca Puckett Young, age 86, of Big Clifty, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Spring view Nursing and Rehab.

She was born July 24, 1938, in Hart County, Kentucky, to the late Hershel and Sylvia Kessinger Puckett. She was a former butcher and loved playing bingo and making ceramics. She was a former member of the East Grayson Co. Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Stevie Lee Puckett and a son-in-law, Jimmy Stinson.

She is survived by a daughter, Alisa Stinson; two sons, Scott Young (Sasha) and Dale Young (Sheila); four step-children, Charlotte Lewis (Donnie), Debbie Bowman, Roger Young and Becky Shipman (Steve); six grandchildren, Donovan Smith, Destany Smith, Kenneth Miller, Gabby Devore, Dawson Young and Dharma Young; eight great-grandchildren, Braden Smith, Abigail Smith, Bodhi Smith, Cash Sermon, Creo Sermon, Canaan Sermon, Elias Miller and Atlas Atticus Miller and a brother James Puckett (Marilyn).

A memorial visitation will be held from 12 to 8 PM (CT), Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson.
