Patsy Ann King, age 77, of Brandon, FL, formerly of Grayson County, passed away at her home on February 27, 2026. 

Patsy was born in Leitchfield, Kentucky on April 11, 1948, to the late Edith and Charles Payne. She attended Florida College, and graduated with a masters in education from Western Kentucky. Patsy worked as a first grade school teacher for over thirty years, teaching countless children how to read. Patsy was also a proud member of Brandon Church of Christ. 

Patsy is survived by her two sons Aaron and Ryan King as well as four grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM (CDT), Saturday, March 14, 2026, at New Hope Church of Christ Cemetery in Big Clifty.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th from 2pm to 3pm, at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd, Brandon FL, 33511, followed be her funeral service.
