Patricia Lynn Watkins Butler, age 72, of Leitchfield, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

She was born January 12, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles "Sonny" and Mary Watson Watkins. She was a retired nurse; loved fishing, crocheting and spending time with her family and laughing a lot. She was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Leitchfield, were she enjoyed leading Bible studies, playing the piano and organ, and also serving the role as pastors' wife.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Butler.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Butler; one daughter, Rhonda Butler; one son, Evan Butler (Hannah); two grandchildren, Harper and Maya and one sister, Marcia Whitworth (Gary).

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM (CDT) Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the First CP Church, Leitchfield with Dr. Rob Truitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1to 8 PM (CDT) Wednesday and after 9 AM (CDT) Thursday at the church.
