Patricia Ann Overby Sims, age 68, of Leitchfield, passed away, Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Norton's Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.

She was born January 30, 1956, in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Charles and Oma Woods Overby. She retried from Campbell Hausfeld after 37 years of service and was a member of Clarkson Methodist Church. She was a kind and loving mother, who was friendly to everyone and never met a stranger. She also enjoyed going to yard sales with her sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Overby.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Sims; two sons, Carl Sims of Leitchfield and Eric Sims of Clarkson; a sister, Sherron Overby and three grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date

Rogers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
