Nina Ruth Saltsman Bennett, age 62, of Leitchfield, passed away, Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at her residence.

She was born June 10, 1959, in Leitchfield, to the late Frank and Mabel Decker Saltsman. She was a homemaker who loved quilting, gardening, farming and doing puzzle books.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Bennett; a son, Steven Bennett and several half-brothers.

Nina is survived by a daughter, Miranda Bennett (Daniel Mercer) of Leitchfield; a son, Joseph Bennett (Laina Ramsey) of Leitchfield; two grandchildren, Allie Mercer and Lily Bennett; her siblings, Willie Saltsman, Jimmie Saltsman, Diane Stevenson, Wayne Saltsman, Lorraine Lawson, Phyllis Horstman, Tommy Saltsman, Stanley Saltsman, Carlene Webb and Arlene Hayes and several nieces and nephews that she loved.

In keeping with Nina's wishes, cremation was chosen, and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
