Nelda Woosley Embry Wooden, age 89, of Clarkson passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Spring View Health and Rehab Center in Leitchfield.

She was born in Grayson County, KY. the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Bryant Woosley. She was a faithful member of the Big Clifty Church of Christ. During her lifetime, she made many beautiful quilts and crocheted many other items. She worked for Kane Manufacturing Company in Morgantown for 30 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Renae Hart of Big Clifty; one step-daughter, Betty Jean (Doug) Jeffers of Upton;one step-son, Russel Wooden;three grandchildren, Sherry Hart, Robin Hart and Scott Hart all of Big Clifty; one sister, Elva Baker of Elizabethtown; one brother, James Woosley of Caneyville; two special sisters-in-law,Glenita (Loyde) Hunt of Morgantown and Lena Wooden of Upton; several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Odell Embry and Kova Wooden, one sister, Hazel Nash and her son-in-law, Eddy Hart.

Visitation : Friends after 12:00 noon Thursday contining at 9:00 AM Friday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home.

Services : Funeral services at 1:oo PM Friday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Brother James Long officiating.

Interment : Burial in Flatwoods Church of Christ Cemetery in Butler County.
