Nancy Jo Jacobs, age 83, of Clarkson, lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on September 12, 1942, in Hardin County to the late Robert Paul and Hazel Marie Gatton Thurman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Kenneth Jacobs.

Nancy was a library aide at the Grayson County High School for many years. In her youth, she was a member and attended the White Mills Christian Church.

She is survived by a son, Kenny Jacobs, Jr.; a daughter, Patricia Durrence; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Dale Thurman; and a sister, Elizabeth Alice Moss.

Services will be held at a later date.
