Mellene Newton, age 55, passed away Sunday, April 10, at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield KY.

She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Augusta Puckett Hatfield.

Mellene was married to Glenn Newton and was the mother of one son; Greg (Crystal) Newton.

She is survived by her husband, her son, one sister; Marilyn Burden and several neices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother; Carroll Hatfield.

Visitation : Freinds after 12 noon Tuesday April 12 2011 at Rogers-Oller Funeral home continuing at 8:00 am Wednesday until time of service.

Services : Funeral service 11:00 AM Wednesday April 13 2011 at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Denver Decker officiating.

Interment : Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Big Clifty.
