Mary Gene Burkhead, age 64, of Campton, KY, passed away, Friday, July 22, 2022, at her home.

She was born on June 22, 1958, in Breckinridge County, KY, the daughter of Paul and Nancy Goodman Willoughby.

She was a housewife, who constantly cleaned and enjoyed cooking and feeding her family.

She is survived by four daughters, Jennifer Sadler (Daniel), Mary Sarver-Douthitt (Rodney), Julie Wisdom and Gina Beckford (Calvin); four sons, Stephen Sarver (Tonya), Robert Sarver (Deana), Luke Burkhead (Mara) and Mark Burkhead; one sister, Anna Dean McStoots (Jerry); three brothers, James Smith (Sandy), Billy Smith (Rose) and Louie Smith (Greta); twenty-three grandchildren, Damyan Drake, Tre Sadler, Jesselle Sadler, Ben Sadler, Tristan Douthitt (Gabrielle), Katie Douthitt, Jewelian Douthitt, Stephen Sarver III, Jayden Sarver, Kayla Sarver, Robert Lee Sarver, Jr., Destin Sarver, Meredith Wisdom, Gracie Wisdom, Aeryk Wisdom, Samuhel Studard, Titus Studard, Aaliyah Beckford, Serenity Beckford, Arianna Beckford, Gabriella Beckford, Ashton Burkhead and Liam Burkhead; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Burkhead, Jr.; three sisters, Regina, Faye and Jeanette and a brother, Vernie.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM (CDT), Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Embry officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvert Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM (CDT) Tuesday and after 9 AM (CDT), Wednesday, at the Rogers-Oller Funeral Home.
