Mary Charles Clemons, age 89, of Clarkson, passed away, Friday, January 7, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

She was born October 22, 1932, to the late, Tony and Vera Bradley Pierce. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Peonia; retired from the Sewing Factory in Leitchfield and loved quilting and caring for her flowers.

In addition, to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Clemons; a son, Gary Clemons; a grandson, Robby Higdon; two brothers, Stanley and John William Pierce and a sister, Judy Thompson.

She is survived by three sons and a daughter, Keith (Martha) Clemons, Rick (Pat) Clemons, Joyce (Marty) Higdon and Jamie (Sandy) Clemons; a daughter-in-law, Karen Clemons; two sisters, Martha Witten and Louise Pierce; a brother, Kenny Pierce; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be held at 1 PM, Monday, January 10, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Rev. Brandon Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Anthony Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 PM, Sunday and from 10 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home.

Prayer service will be held at 5 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the St. Paul Catholic School.
