Marvin Ray Parrish, age 77, of Big Clifty, KY., passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

He was a member of Hardin Springs Community Church and retired from Leitchfield Plastics as a Machine operator.

He was the son of the late Clyde V. and Marie Peacock Parrish.

Marvis is survived by his wife, Irene Whitworth Parrish, four sons, Ronnie, David, Charles Allen and Vernon Lee Parrish, six step-daughters, Norma Dennis, Gladys Powell, Wanda Bernell, Mary Farrell, Martina Cundiff and Nina Hamler, one brother, Charles Parrish, three sisters, Glenda Redmon, Shirley Harris and Charlotte Rogers. Other survivors include several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation : Friends from 2:00 - 8:00 Tuesday Feb. 28 and from 9:00 am Wednesday until time of service at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home.

Services : Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday February 29 2012 at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Dennis officiating.

Interment : Burial will follow in Hudson Cemetery in Breckinridge County.
