Marvin Lloyd Darlington, Jr., age 70, of Clarkson, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at his residence.

He was born October 9, 1955, in Dayton, Kentucky, to the late Marvin Lloyd Darlington, Sr. and Philomena Darlington. Marvin enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially deer hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. He worked as a parts supply representative for more than 40 years with Ford Motor Company, where he developed many lasting friendships with coworkers throughout his career.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to his special friends, Jeff VanMeter and Tim Whitmore, as well as his many caring neighbors, for their support, friendship, and visits.

In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Courtney.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Pickerill Darlington; his daughter, Meredith Darlington; his son, Jordan (Sherry) Darlington; and three grandchildren, Tristan, Addison, and Ireland.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Rogers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Clarkson Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. (CT) Wednesday at the funeral home.
