Marie Grant, 90 years young, departed this life at her residence on Tuesday, December 6, 2011.

Marie was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lena White. She was married to the late Jack Grant. Marie was a houswife and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Marie was the devoted mother of ten children; Linda Rose Duvall (Senate), Danny Grant (Vicki), Faye Kessinger (Treck), Sandy Johnston (Jed), Freda Manion (John), Jeff Grant, Marsha Grant Hardin, Kathy Price, Pat Grant(Robin) and Todd Grant (Robin).

Other survivors include twenty-three grandchildren,

thirty-four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Other that her husband and parents she was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

So I am glad not that my loved one has gone,

But that the earth she laughed and lived on was my earth.

That I had known and loved her,

and that my love I'd shown.

Tears over her departure?

Nay, a smile

That I had walked with her a little while.

Visitation : Friends may call from 3-8:30 Wednesday. Prayer services will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday.

Services : Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday December 8 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Johnson oficiating.

Interment : Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery.
