Margaret Tom Higdon was the wife of the late Thomas G. Higdon and daughter of the late James and JoAna Clemons Powell. She was a member of the Baptist Faith and retired from Kane Manufacturing Co. Margaret is survived by one son, Tommy Higdon, three daughters; Brenda Wilson, Joyce Rayford, and Judy carwile, one brother and three sisters. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Abigail

Wilson and Amanda Lewis and five grandsons; James and Robert Newton, Jeffrey Rayford, Kelly Carwile and Jason Higdon. In addition she leaves behind twelve great-grandchildren.
