Marchmond Jerry Cottrell, Jr. age 69, passed away, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Hillcrest Village in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

He was born December 22, 1955, to Marchmond Jerry Cottrell Sr. and the late Olive Delphine Lashley. He was a veteran having served in the United States Navy and a construction worker. He liked mushroom hunting, finding arrowheads, playing the guitar, singing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother Delphine and stepmother, Lillie Cottrell.

Jerry is survived by three daughters, Shannon Gibson, Lillie Higdon and Shelia Partin; a son, Charles Cottrell, his father, Marchmond "Sonny" Cottrell; several brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.
