Lura Ree Lampton, age 96, of Big Clifty, passed away, Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Grayson Nursing and Rehab.

She was born December 11, 1925, in Grayson County, to the late Jasper Lee and Lydia Jane Clark Lampton. She was a member of Clarkson Baptist Church and a former housekeeper for St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville.

She is survived by a daughter, Martha Jane Fletcher; two granddaughters, Teresa Heady (Keith) and Xaviera Hughes (Paul); six great-grandchildren, Luke, Kristin, Troy, Brett, Hannah and Elizabeth; three great-great-grandchildren, LylaBeth, Royce and Kylen and a sister, Rosa Dupin.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM (CDT), Friday, May 27, 2022, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Clemons officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery at Big Clifty.

Visitation will be after 10 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
