Lula Opal Lucas, age 95, of Louisville, KY passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Baptist Health Care in New Albany, Indiana. She was born in Hardin County, KY April 30, 1923, daughter of Lawrence Virgil and Bertha Dee (Lucas) Barnes and was married to Winson Lucas.

Mrs. Lucas was a Homemaker.

She is survived by 3-children; Helen Faye Goodman (Almer), Dwayne Lucas (Mary) and Murrel Lucas (Darlene).

Other survivors include 9-Grandchildren, 16-Great-grandchildren and 3-Great-great-grandchildren and one brother; Virgil Barnes.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, husband; Winson Lucas, brother; Ova Lewis Barnes, sisters; Virginia Eanes and Francis Carman.
