Louis Wayne Hodges, age 73, of Clarkson, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at his home in Mulberry Flats, on the farm where he was born and raised surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer and a brief stay in the hospital. He was born on April 24, 1945, to Gilbert and Marie Powell Hodges who preceded him in death.

Louis retired from Sullivan Construction Company. He was an avid deer hunter, loved visiting with his family and friends, and especially loved to ride his motorcycle.

Louis is survived by 4 brothers and 5 sisters: J.C. (Laverne), Sammy (Rita), Stevie (Pam) of Clarkson, Willard (Brenda) of Leitchfield, Betty Houchens of Columbus, Indiana, Shirlean Herron of Nicholasville, KY, Louise Escue (Vince), Linda Baxter (James) and Reva White (Tony) of Leitchfield. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive as well as many friends and a special friend, Jeanett Powell.
