Lois Faye Buntain was born in Hudson KY. She was the daughter of Claudie and Shellie Lee Lucas Dodson. She was married to David W. Buntain.

She loved fishing and quilting.

She is survived by her Husband; three sons James Lee Aubrey (Bylinda), William David Buntain (Brandy) and David Allen Buntain (Beva); a step-son Todd Brewer; three daughters Genna Roof, Joanna Marie Buntain and Alana Buntain; 17 Grandchildren; several Great-great-grandchildren; four sisters Brenda Joe Miller, Bonnie Sue Dodson, Jessie Karen Blair and Shirley Gail Cook; one brother Ronnie Eugene Dodson.

She was preceded in death by her father Claudie Dodson.
