Linda Darlene Higgs, age 62, of Clarkson, passed away, Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Nortons Hospital in Louisville.

She was born November 12, 1960, in Grayson County, to Mildred Perry Logsdon and the late, Herman Logsdon. She was a member of Broadford Missionary Baptist Church, retired from Bel Cheese and was a bus monitor. Darlene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Johnson and two brothers, Allen Logsdon and Gary Logsdon.

She is survived by her husband Delbert Higgs; two daughters, Heather Potter and Jesecca Jackson (Calvin); two stepchildren, Tamara Duggins (Jonathan) and D.J. Higgs; her mother, Mildred Logsdon; seven grandchildren, Layla Daniels, Tripp Potter, Henry Potter, Ava Higgs, Piper Phelps, Raelin Phelps and Noah Phelps and three sisters, Janette Butler, Kelly Mathis and Sandra Koch.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Broadford Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM, Friday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home and after 10 AM, Saturday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy can take the form of donations to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
