Linda Lougene Langley Nelson, age 62, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, at her residence in Clarkson.

She was born August 8, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lester Layman and Martha Lois Bullock Langley. She was a housewife, loved to ride horses, enjoyed working in the garden and canning, she also liked to fish, and play with her dog, Sissy.  Linda loved her family and grandson Dean. She was a member of the Broadford Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Tae Blessitt and Lois Lee Webb.

Linda is survived by her husband, Steve Nelson; a daughter, Hannah Nelson; a son, Justin Nelson (Jessie); a grandson, Dean Nelson; and a brother, Leonard Langley.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 12 noon, at Stanton Cemetery.

Rogers Funeral Home, Clarkson Kentucky, is in charge of arrangements.
