Linda Newton Decker, age 78, of Leitchfield, passed away, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Hosparus Health Inpatient Care Center, in Louisville.

She was born December 7, 1946, in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Sarah Saltsman Newton.

Linda enjoyed working on the farm, raising her gardens, working in the flowers, and mowing the yard.  When she wasn't working on the farm, she liked spending time riding through the country to go sightseeing, and loved watching the birds, the purple martins and hummingbirds were her favorite ones to view.

She is survived by her loving husband of more than 63 years of marriage, Delbert Lee Decker; four children, Darlene Miller (Ricky), Nedra Decker (Vester), Harold Thomas Decker and Joe Decker (Michelle); six grandchildren, Matthew Decker, Randy Meredith, Beth Miller, Jonathan Decker, Makala Decker, and Cody Earnspiker; and eight great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susie Saltsman; a brother, Bud Newton; a sister, Shirley Decker; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Decker.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
