Lewis Edward Smith, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY., was born in Grayson County, son of Frank and Lorene Sadler Smith. He passed away on August 19,2015 at his residence.

Mr. Smith served the Grayson County School System for 37 years as School Administrator and Teacher for 13 years.

He was a member of Shrewsbury Baptist Church.

Mr. Smith is survived by one brother: Charles Glenn Smith, two nieces; Annette Cannon (Mark) and Rhonda Daugherty (Leo), two great-nieces; Kelly Cannon and Kimberly Carbaugh (Brett).

Also surviving is his loving close friend and special blessing: Barbara Cross.

He was preceded in death by his Parents.

Visitation : The family will receive friends at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home on Friday August 21 2015 from 3 - 8PM (CDT) Saturday from 9 - 8 and after 11AM Sunday until time of service at the funeral home.

Services : Funeral service will be at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home at 2PM (CDT) Sunday August 23 2015. Bro. Ralph Beard and Bro. Lee Schrolucke will officiate.

Interment : Burial will follow in Shrewsbury Cemetery.
