Leslie Lamarr "Marty" Roberts, age 82, of Leitchfield, passed away, Monday, December 11, 2023, at Owensboro Health-Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 31, 1941, in Breckinridge County, to the late, Hobert and Rhue Mercer Roberts. He was a member of Potter's Hope Church; retired from Hillerich & Bradsby Company and a former member of the Valley Masonic Lodge. He loved farming, hunting and listening to Merle Haggard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ronnie Smith.

Marty is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty King Roberts; a son, Danny Roberts (Andrea) of Murfreesboro, TN; two daughters, Karen Smith of Leitchfield and Cathy Pierrard (Jeff) of Cloverport; five grandchildren, Brittney Turner (Justin), Shannon Smith, Jaelee Roberts, Benjamin Coleman and Samuel Coleman and a great-grandchild, Parker Turner.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM (CST), Friday, December 15, 2023, at Potter's Hope Church, with Bro. Wayne Clemons officiating. Burial will follow in the Madrid Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM, Thursday at the church and from 9 AM until the service time, Friday at the church.
