Leroy Gordon Fulkerson, Sr. age 74, of Millwood, passed away, Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at the Norton's Hosparus Care Center in Louisville.

He was born September 11, 1949, in Louisville to the late Tilford and Maggie Stinnett Fulkerson. He was a construction worker and an Army veteran having served in the Vietnam Era. He was a humble man who was strong in his faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gibson Fulkerson and a great-granddaughter, Kolbie Rae Saltsman.

Leroy is survived by two sons, Leroy "Lee" Fulkerson, Jr. (Sheila) and Jeremy Fulkerson; a daughter, Tonya Hall; three granddaughters, Ashley Collard (Eric), Alexandria Hayes (Casey) and Stacie Hall; three grandsons, Samuel, Preston and Oliver Fulkerson; three great-grandchildren, Hurley Saltsman, Dexter Collard and Hunter Hall; four sisters, Louisine Nelson (Howard), Cuba Fulkerson (Charles), Gladys Fulkerson (Riley) and Brenda Nelson; two brothers, Loomis Fulkerson (Juanita) and Dudley Nelson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM (CT), Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Rogers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Little Clifty Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
